In fulfilment of his promises of making the popular lgbokoda market a first class, Chairman Caretaker Committee, llaje Local Government, Prince Adegbenro Nomiye has embarked on the renovation of twenty five blocks of market at lgbokoda market.
Other project executed by the Chairman included purchase of twenty Dino Bin for Easter disposal across lgbokoda township, construction of rate offices, Town Hall at lgbogumrin, renovation of the fence of the council secretariat and erecting of a befitting gates and, construction of toilets at the secretariat among others.
Inspecting the projects, Prince Nomiye said this is just the beginning of the wonderful plan he had in the offing to make the residents of llaje council area to enjoin the dividends of democracy promised by the Dr. Mimik led Labour Party government in Ondo State.
He assured that his projects execution will be on stage by state and it is in accordance with the demand of the residents of the benefitting communities. The council boss announced that he is going to establish mobile clinic that will take care of the majority of llaje that lived on the core riverine area to prevent deaths arising from bringing patient from riverine to the only General Hospital lgbokoda.
He said his administration had given out N2m as bursaries to students of higher institution in llaje origin across the country and that those whose houses were damaged during the ljaw/llaje crisis in 1999 and cannot afford to build new house will be assisted to build one by his administration.
The Local Government Chairman enjoined the llaje to recipocate the gesture of the government at all level by working for peace, unity and development in the area and state in general and cooperate with his administration.
Cross section of the llaje interviewed by reporter commended the council Chairman for embarking on not only physical projects but those that have direct affects in the masses as they assured him of their absolute loyalty.
