Unity and cooperation should be encouraged among the youth in the riverine areas of llaje and Ese-Odo because he said all other forum of development are contigents upon unity. The guest speaker who speaks on the topic "Youth as Agents of Change and Development" commended the state government and OSOPADEC Board for orgainsing the summit that bought the youth in the area together.
He charged stakeholders and political actor of the riverine area to demonstrate good spirit and shared vision commitment and high degree of transparency or probility. He noted that the issue of development in the area was a national problem devoid of dichotomy and formation or a cabal capable of truncating progress.
He recommended that model secondary and primary schools library and coaching centres for JAMB and extral moral coaching classes be put in place to foster laudable education programme in the area. While declaring the summit open, Chairman Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, OSOPADEC, Prince Debo Ajimuda charged the youths to cultivate the value of cooperation, unity, love, peace, humility and tolerance.
He added that they should cooperate with the present government at all level, as he promised that his administration will bring positive change to riverine area of Ondo State.Prince Ajimuda who commended the youths for the peace enjoyed in the riverine area of Ondo state so far urged them to prepare themselves as agents of change for positive development in their areas.
Cross section of youths who spoke at the summit commended the state government and OSOPADEC board for the summit but pleaded theat what was due for the youths in the riverine area of Ondo State be given to them on time.
