Oba Adeniyi later became Managing Consultant to Zenith Management and PR Konsult in 1994, a job he has not relinquished even as he mounts the traditional stool of Igbotu.

The young traditional ruler also has several wards and titles in his kitty. He has been honoured by the Ubiversity of Ado Ekiti with the University Award for Excellence and was also made the Otunba-Toyese of Apoi Kingdom. He was Aare Mayegun of Mahin Kingdom and the Bobagunwa of Igbobini-Apoi land and also the Araba of Igbou before he was installed as the Gbaluwe.

Before becoming a traditional ruler e enjoys putting on knickers and jeans like every young man of his generation but now tradition doesn’t permit him anymore. As a traditional ruler he is expected to dress the way he wants the kingdom he rules to be addressed.

But one thing the stool has not taking from him is his old friends. He still maintains his relationship with them, in his words “I still maintain my old friends because I don’t want to alienate myself from them. As a young ruler, they still come around me to share memories and compare notes.”

In an interaction with the people of Igbotu, they are all happy with their king and full of praises for the appointment and traditional installation. They give kudos to the Governor of the State, DR. OlusegunMimiko for approving the process that finally gave them a popular king after ten years of vacant stool. The people of Igbotu also appeal to the Governor to give their king his Staff of Office after 8 months of his installation to enable hm move the town foreward, more so that there is no single petition or court action attached to the Chieftaincy of Oba Adeniyi.

His Royal Highness, Oba Ajayi Adeniyi was widely praised and credited by his subjects for vanishing the notorious problem of youth restiveness  from his kingdom since he ascended the stool of his forbears.
