AGAGU, PDP HONOUR ALADEMEHIN IN DEATH - MIMIKO OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP TO CHILDREN

The shock of the sudden death of Ondo State local government
commissioner, Hon. Oye Alademehin was not just within his Labour Party
fold, it reverberated to his former political base, the People's
Democratic Party (PDP) on which platform he served for two terms as
member, house of assembly.
Various PDP members gathered in twos and threes to discuss the
demise of the political heavyweight, very well known for his boldness
to face political foes.
Former governor, Dr Olusegun Agagu, despite Hon. Alademehin led the
vanguard of opposition that unseated him from the lkale axis, directed
that the PDP caucus meeting slated for November 21 be cancelled as a
mark of respect the departed politician.
Dr Agagu was quoted by associates as saying that "Oye was a
politician with great prospects and one of the lkales that had
potential to govern the state in future".
Other PDP chieftains forgot their bitter political rivalry and trooped
to the family of Alademehin in Aye to condoled with relations and
friends of the deceased.
A prominent PDP member in Ode Aye, Mr. Henry Arowojolu offered to
serve in  the local committee that superintended the final burial
programmes of the late commissioner.
Meanwhile Gov. Olusegun Mimiko has   offered scholarship to all
children of the late Hon. Oye Alademehin to any level.
He also pledged to support the wives of the late commissioner in
terms of their welfare through necessary government machinery.
