It was memorable for member of the Nigeria Police, Okitipupa Division
and their friends and well wishers as they celebrated their end of
year/New year in a grand style.

The celebration which has who is who in Okitipupa Local
Government in attendance was held at the open ground of Okitipupa
Divisional Headquarter of the Nigeria Police with more than enough
assorted food and drinks to take care of the audience.

Police of all ranks, their wives, friends and well wishers
dance to the live music and gave thanks to the Lord for sparing their
lives.

Chairman, Okitipupa local government, Dr Dapo lwala who was
thrilled by the way the celebration was organised said it show the
cordiality that exists between the police and the entire Okitipupa
Communities and commended the performance of the Okitipupa Police
Division since assumption of office and urged them to do more.

The local government boss who used the occation to announce
that his administratoin will sink boreholes in all the police station
and police post in the council area said one of the on going project
of his administration is the construction of a befitting police post
in Ode- Erije and promice to do more as he charged member of the
public to cooperate with the policemen in Okitipupa.
